Grow as a Good Citizen

As Christians, we are citizens of two kingdoms: God's kingdom and our earthly communities. In this Bible study, we explored how we can be responsible and God-honouring citizens in both.

Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2 give us a clear foundation: we are to honour authority, promote the common good, and be lights in our communities.

What Good Citizenship Looks Like

• Actively participating in community life — with Christian values
• Standing for justice, especially for the vulnerable
• Being honest and reliable — in small things and big
• Building community and connecting people

Faith is not a private matter. It's meant to show up in how we live as citizens — and CGY exists to help young people discover and live that out.
