As part of our ongoing Online Youth Program, CGY recently hosted a workshop specifically focused on supporting young people with migration backgrounds.
Many of the young believers in our community are navigating life between cultures, languages, and identities. This workshop provided a safe space to talk through those experiences, and to find roots that go deeper than any border or background.
Key Takeaways
- Identity in Christ is the most stable foundation anyone can have, regardless of where they come from
- Community is essential for young people moving between cultures
- Peer pressure is real, but God's Word and a healthy community give young people the strength to stand firm
We plan to continue offering workshops like this one. If you'd like to attend a future session, reach out at info@christglobalyouth.org.
